MYRTHE HAJEMA
I grew up in Heiloo and have been happily living in Amsterdam for several years now. Growing up, I was always taught how interesting and valuable oral care is, which sparked my enthusiasm for the profession from an early age.
After completing my studies in Oral Health Care at Inholland University of Applied Sciences/ACTA, I gained experience in various general dental practices. With this experience, I offer professional support to practices that need temporary additional help, ensuring continuity of care. My focus is on preventive oral care: preventing problems before they arise.
I also have a special interest in geriatric dental care, because I believe everyone—at any age—deserves a healthy smile. In all my work, I believe it's important to work with care, attention, and a calm atmosphere. What defines me is that I enjoy putting people at ease and taking the time to work together to provide the best possible care.
A dental hygienist helps keep your teeth healthy and prevent problems like cavities and gum disease. During an appointment, the hygienist examines your teeth and gums, develops a treatment plan, provides advice and practical tips for good oral health, and performs professional cleanings.
A major advantage is that you can schedule an appointment with the dental hygienist without a referral from your dentist. This allows you to quickly and easily work towards healthy teeth and a radiant smile.
